We grieve when we experience loss
Death is part of life. How often do we hear that in our day-to-day lives?
In general, we are not encouraged to think about, talk about, prepare for or know how to manage the death of someone we know or love. Ironically, this is when people need the most support. Because grief is one of the biggest emotions you will experience it can seem overwhelming and scary. In fact, it can feel very much like fear.
Everyone experiences grief and loss differently; there is no one size fits all and there are no magic steps or stages that will end your grief.
Having someone who will accept you just as you are and let you BEE YOURSELF in the midst of your grief is incredibly important. I "get it" both personally and professionally.
