I know this is the first thing people want to know (including me) so here's the answer! 

Counselling:  $130 for 50 minutes

Hypnotherapy:  $145 for one hour - first session is usually 1.5 hours and costs $215

Something to ponder:  Treating yourself is awesome whether it's enjoying your favourite beverages or snacks; playing/watching/attending sporting events; going out for dinner, going on outings or holidays.  Some people label counselling as "a waste of money" or "too expensive."  You may want to think of it as an added treat.  After all, self-care, self-awareness and personal change are priceless.

I have a comfy counselling room in my private residence in Greenwood Estate.  I will provide the address prior to your session.

I also do counselling via Teams or telephone.

Yes!  Counselling is currently an unregulated profession - meaning anyone can put up a shackle on their door and call themselves a Counsellor - yikes!  It's a good idea to check your Counsellor is registered with one of the two main regulatory bodies, ACA or PACFA. I am a Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).  

Qualifications:  BA (Behavioural Science), Grad. Dip. Arts (Sociology), Diploma of Counselling, Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Applied Psychotherapy

Counsellors undertake counselling-specific subjects in their studies.  Counsellors can help with a variety of issues and work alongside you and help you consider your options and  make your own decisions.  

Psychologists conduct psychological assessments, diagnose mental health disorders and develop treatment plans based on their assessment.

Psychiatrists diagnose and treat mental health disorders.  They are authorised to prescribe medications.
